The registered/legal owner must be present and provide a valid photo ID.
All towing and storage fees must be paid in full before a vehicle will be released.
If the vehicle is under a law enforcement hold, you must provide a formal release from the appropriate police agency.

Property owners—or those authorized in writing—can request the removal of unauthorized vehicles. With our posted towing signs or on residential property, towing can occur immediately. Yes. Under RCW 46.55.080, the person authorizing the impound must be present at the scene to sign an “Authorization to Impound” form and to verify the vehicle needing to be removed.
No, as long as the impound complies with RCW 46.55.070. Otherwise the vehicle must remain untouched for 24 hours before it can be removed. You may also choose to post a warning first and have the vehicle towed later, at your discretion.
By law, we must provide every customer redeeming a vehicle with a “Hearing Request” form. If they believe the impound was improper, they have up to 10 days to submit the form with the local district court to request a hearing.
